“Cousins are that little bit of childhood that can never be lost.”
When Melissa and Heather got in touch with me last year to plan this session I couldn’t wait to meet these two!! It seems to fit them perfectly that their kids are born so close. I don’t think it could have happened any other way.
I mean, I’ll never forget the time when we were all at Heather and Cole’s wedding reception and Melissa came and and told me that she couldn’t believe Heather was getting married because it feels like one of her own kids. She even admitted that she tried to raise Heather herself, convinced that she knew better than their parents!
So how could these two not take this journey together?! The chance to really raise their kids side by side?! And even though no one could ever plan this, it feels like it was in the plan all along.
This is why I couldn’t picture a better way to celebrate than a double family session to welcome the two most adorable kids to the family.
And if I’m being honest, I really, really wanted to get these two chubby cuties future #spbride and #spgroom onsies. I think it would be adorable!!
Little miss Maylin and mr. Marshall, you are two of the luckiest kids I know! Armed with parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles that already love you to pieces and with your cousin by your side you two are going to take the world by storm!
I can’t wait to see you grow and am so thankful that you are here and bringing your parents so much joy!
Melissa, Zach, Heather and Cole, thank you so much for once again including me in your family moments. I am so thankful to have met you and am so excited to see your family grow!
